One of the key academic events of the 9th International Conference on Business Innovation (ICOBI 2026) is the Doctoral Colloquium, designed especially for doctoral candidates who are at the early or intermediate stages of their research journey. The Doctoral Colloquium will be held as a physical event on 13 October 2026 at NSBM Green University, Sri Lanka, prior to the main conference.
Purpose of the Doctoral Colloquium
The objective of the Doctoral Colloquium is to provide a scholarly and supportive forum where Doctoral candidates can present and discuss their research proposals, conceptual papers, working papers, or early-stage thesis chapters. Participants will receive constructive feedback, methodological guidance, and academic mentoring from a panel of experienced local and international academics.
The colloquium also encourages interaction among doctoral candidates, enabling them to learn from peers, refine their research focus, and strengthen their contribution to the broader field of business innovation and management studies.
Who Can Submit?
Doctoral candidates from Sri Lankan and international universities are warmly invited to submit papers aligned with the conference theme:
Human-Centric AI and Sustainable Business Innovation for Future Economy
Submissions may include:
